Wasn't Zhao Yunlan partly raised by Da Qing in the show? Or at least was heavily influenced when he was younger? 'Raised by a cat' might explain the 'jumping on table' thing, though it DEFINITELY doesn't excuse it. I think there might be a scene in a later episode where BOTH of them jump on the table (with Da Qing in human form) while they're eating with the group, though I can't remember which one.
