Ahhhh this episode was so terrible, and it's also the one that made me suspect that one of the show writers is a Supernatural fan (the American CW show, which has made it to China afaict) because this plot and the drowning in bathtub effects are weirdly similar to a s1 ep of SPN.
Wait Zhu Yilong improvised his bending the page when on the phone with Zhao Yunlan? Everything good in this show really was just him and Bai Yu, wasn't it. It's bizarre how their scenes stand out -- not just because of their acting, either, like, the SW/ZYL relationship is genuinely well-developed, well-paced, how does the show get that so right and everything else so wrong?!
I did like Shen Wei going and warning the Dixing guy off his boyfriend. Like he doesn't even try to pretend that's not all he cares about...
