I am beginning to suspect that in terms of censorship of homosexuality, no matter how thin the veneer is, you can imply as much as you like so long as there is the thinnest sliver of semi-plausible deniability. Lol. (Like we all KNOW what this is, but maybe so long as no one says they’re gay and no one kisses— or does worse in a seedy club bathroom— they can skate on the edge of acceptable? Who knows. It’s probably always going to be a risk, though, you never know when the boundaries are going to shift.)
